Unfortunately, diets don’t make you healthy…they make you crazy around food because your body is in a freak-out mode, as it sees dieting as a famine.
What happens is that your body will fight against the diet at every turn, and eventually, you’ll crack and then it’s FEAST TIME and PANIC EATING…because your body doesn’t know when you’re going to put it back into the diet prison and starvation mode. So, it’s a go big or go home moment.
Afterward, you feel guilty and ashamed and so you go back on the diet, until the next time you crack and overeat. This is called the diet-binge cycle, and it puts a lot of strain on your body and mind.
